Following our mission to educate the mind, St. Ignatius Martyr provides students with the daily formation of living a virtuous life. Therefore, we are proud to offer the Dominican Sisters of Mary’s Virtues Program at our school. The Virtues program will serve as a road map in teaching our children the importance of living a virtuous life by understanding the four Cardinal Virtues (Prudence, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance) and the Theological Virtues (Faith, Hope, and Charity).
Through the interaction with this program, we will collectively provide the content needed to educate youth in discipleship and virtues by providing in-depth knowledge of theological and moral integrity and the corresponding gifts of the Holy Spirit. As educators and parents, we have a common goal and are called to help our children clearly understand how everyone is called to be a disciple of Christ and that through a personal encounter with Him, each of us is gifted with interior happiness and true freedom.
St. Ignatius Martyr is excited to integrate this program into our school and share how it will shape our view on life, God’s plan, and how we interact as a school community. We are excited to continue to develop this program and provide in-depth knowledge of how the virtues will continue to educate the mind and form children's hearts.
